We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our team in Ballarat. The role involves providing quality services to participants who are funded by NDIS. This position offers flexible hours, a higher pay rate. We are looking for applicants with relevant qualifications, experience.

- Provide supports and services in a safe and competent manner with care and skill.

- Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of supports and services provided to people with disability.
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence against, and exploitation, neglect and abuse of, people with disability.
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct
Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent industry related qualification
- Previous experience in aged care and/or disability is preferred
- Current Victorian Drivers’ License
- Current fully comprehensive insurance on your private vehicle (to be used for work purposes)
- Right to work in Australia
- Current NDIS Screening check or willingness to complete is a MUST
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills,
- Ability and willingness to work in a diverse range of settings including but not limited to a person’s home or place of residence, other services, community groups, and other community settings
- Understanding of Work Health & Safety requirements
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
- Working with Children (WWC)
