Care with Kindness is an NDIS service provider that specialises in providing support to people living with a disability throughout Sydney. Support shifts are usually within a 25-30kms radius.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Aboriginal Community, both society and culture and the issues impacting on it.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with members of the Aboriginal Community.
- Experience with working with people with a disability.
- Experience in Mental Health and some instances, manual handling.
- Understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding regulations
- Are enthusiastic about supporting people with disabilities to live their best life.
- Complete thorough shift notes, login and log out on time and spend their time with their participants and help them achieve goals
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based checks; including having the following documents:
- An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISWC)
- Been fully vaccinated against COVID 19
- Completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Completed the Infection Control Module
- Hold a current NSW driver's licence with full comprehensive insurance
- Have or will obtain First Aid and CPR Certificate, while not mandatory is preferred.
- Identifies as First Nations/Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
- Patient, flexible and understanding
- Great communication skills
- Proactively think of activities our clients can partake in that reduces the cost.
