Disability Support Worker - Day Programs

If you would like to work alongside customers and their families, in a direct capacity to achieve their goals and aspirations then this role is suitable to you. This vacancy is available for the successful candidate to join an established team of Disability Support Workers to provide excellent support through our “Recreation and Leisure” programs.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide quality support to customers to participate in a variety of activities and, as appropriate, teach skills using a variety of both formal and informal methods. Shift days and times will vary from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 7pm.

You will be provided with extensive training in each customers' individual needs on commencement and will be supported by an established team of Disability Support Workers. 

The position will commence on a casual basis with the future opportunity to become a permanent part-time team member for the right candidate.

To be successful for this role you must hold:

• A current driver’s license
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
• NSW Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain)
• VIC Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain)

Relevant experience and/or industry related certification/qualification is desirable but not essential.
