About the Role
We are looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join us in delivering exceptional support to our participants, particularly focusing on female individuals living independently in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation. Provide support to participants in areas such as personal health, social connection and domestic skills.
About You
- Genuine desire to support people with disabilities using a person-centered approach
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both within a team and autonomously
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualification
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities (desirable)
Requirements
To apply for this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Working with Children Check
- Current police check conducted within the last 6 month
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Valid Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or another relevant qualification
