AddressWe are seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers to assist a young male client in The Hatch, in the Port Macquarie Region. This opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children and has experience with brain injuries and mental health conditions.
About the Role:
Our client a male in his 30s sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) approximately a year ago. He lives with his young family. and requires support to manage daily routines and household tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the needs and routines of two small children
- Helping with the daily running of the household
- Providing support to client with his TBI and PTSD, and increased fatigue
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
- Shifts available between 7am to 6pm
- Experience working with young children (preferred)
- Experience supporting individuals with a traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Experience with clients with mental health conditions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Check
- Licence and Vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Quality, Safety and you module certificate
- Australian Driver's License
