Responsibilities :
To support our clients to set and achieve their personal goals in a caring and empathetic environment whilst adhering to NDIS Codes, Policies and Procedures
Duties: We provide support to our clients in Home and Community settings such as
- Meal prep, cooking, cleaning and general home duties
- Personal care/ showering / toileting
- Assist with Medications and health care needs
- Transporting to appointments and shopping
- Assisting and supporting with activities and respite
You will have:
A supportive and empathetic nature, be flexible, great communication skills and a passion to support our clients in achieving their goals. The ability to clearly document case notes and work within the company and NDIS Policy and procedure. Be able to problem solve and think outside the square.
Requirements:
- Cert III in Individual Support or similar (or willingness to enrol)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Manual Handling certificate
- Current DCSI Working with Children
- Current DCSI Disability/ NDIS Worker Screening Clearance OR National Police Check
- Current Child Safe Environment Training or RAN
- Current Drivers License
- Minimum two Covid-19 Vaccinations
- Registered and roadworthy vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
