As we are growing and need workers to support our clients, we have long and short shifts available.
Your role:
Our mission is always to find the right Support Worker for clients. That means that we will try to find someone you will get along with and who needs your skills to be ideally supported. Therefore, you can cultivate a friendly and successful relationship with your client.
You will provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their life quality, interacting one-on-one with clients, completing activities that may include but are not limited to:
In-home personal care, daily living assistance, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry & ironing.
Providing care following the client’s individualized Care and Meal Plan.
Supporting with community-based recreational and social activities.
Promote independence and community participation at every opportunity
Provide support and supervision for people in the home or workplace.
Maximize our clients' physical and mental well-being.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Provide services as directed by the Individual Client Support Plans and document case notes.
All service delivery must be in line with the Policies and Procedures of Total Support Services and the requirements of NDIS Practice Standards. And if you show commitment and dedication, you are destined to succeed in your career at Total Support Services.
What are we looking for?
Certificate III in Disability / Aged Care or a minimum of 3 years' experience in the field
Previous experience in working with People with Disabilities
Professionalism, reliability and dedication
Current ‘C’ class driver’s license and reliable car
NDIS Worker Screening and Child Related Screening
Certificate in Manual Handling
Certificate in First Aid including CPR
