Disability Support Worker - Shepparton & Surrounding Areas

Prime Assist Services is a fully registered NDIS Service Provider dedicated in delivering ‘first-class’ care and supports to NDIS participants. The primary goal of the organisation  is to ensure all clients receive the quality care they truly deserve. Due to current growth/expansion, we are now seeking in hiring experienced qualified staff to work with our already set dynamic highly experienced teams in Shepparton & Surrounding Areas.

The role:

We are currently seeking committed Disability Support Workers for our existing and prospective clients in Shepparton & Surrounding Areas. If you are situated in Victoria and you believe you can meet below set criteria feel free to apply.

Your responsibilities as a Disability Support Worker will be to provide 1:1 & 2:1 in both in home support and community participation for our NDIS participants. Our participants require services include assisting with daily living activities, household tasks, community participation, personal care and transport.

Skills & Experience:

• 100 Points I.D
• Working with Children Check
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Cert IV in Disability or a relevant qualification (Proof of Enrolment is fine)
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates
• Administration of medication training (or willing to obtain)
• Manual handling training (or willing to obtain)
• COVID-19 - Infection Control Training Cert
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Cert
• International police check (if applicable)
• Access to a car and drivers license
• Positive, reliable, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds living with impairment

Advantageous knowledge, qualifications and experiences:

• Mental Health experience (Working with Complex clients)
• PEG feeding
• Medication Administration
• Intellectual Disability Support
