We are on the lookout for kind, compassionate experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team working with people with mental health challenges.
You will be working directly with complex trauma, psycho-social challenges and learning difficulties. Your flexibility across a 24/7 roster will help provide consistent, holistic support for individuals to build their capacity and achieve their goals. Sleep over shifts and some some weekend work is a requirement.

Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV in Community Service/Disability Services or equivalent qualification
- Experience in the disability or mental health, OOHC sectors
- A responsible attitude and strong rapport building skills – strong skills in maintaining positive, dignified and respectful relationships with participants, their families and other health and Support Workers
- Ability to use clear and concise language in verbal communication and set clear boundaries
- Demonstrated ability to calmly de-escalate emotive situations
- Ability to apply understanding of ‘duty of care’ to delivering support services and escalate issues when required
- Demonstrated ability to write and maintain accurate written records and documentation
- Demonstrated flexibility in delivering a broad range of services for NDIS participants
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
