Part Time or Casual Support Worker role available. The Support Worker will support clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes.
- To work on a 24/7 rotating roster which includes days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekend shifts.
- Provide positive outreach support to NDIS Participants with a range of disabilities.
- This includes intensive, flexible, responsive, client focused support with the aim of assisting clients to successfully improve physical and mental health and develop connections with the community and achieve their goals.
- A working knowledge of the NDIS.
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude
- Assisting participants in their needs of daily living including personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport, etc.
- Use your administration skills to maintain accurate documentation and records of support provided.
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated (including Booster).
- A working knowledge of the NDIS.
- A qualification like a Certificate IV in Community Service Work.
- A current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- A Working with Children Clearance.
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) Clearance.
- A Driver's license (CP2 minimum) valid in Australia and access to own vehicle.
- Australian Citizen or must have Unlimited Work Rights.
- An empathetic attitude towards individuals with disabilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience providing personalised support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community engagement.
