Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
The Role:
We are currently looking for an experiened Disability Support Workers to support our female participant based in Tamworth, NSW. Our participant sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury and has lost lower limb & partial upper limb movement.
This role will be on a casual on-going basis with morning shifts available. Hours include:
- Monday: 3PM to 7PM
- Wednesday: 3PM to 7PM
- Thursday: 3PM to 7PM
- Sunday: 3PM to 7PM
Pay Rates:
- Day - $38.75 per hour
- Sunday - $69.75 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistance with domestic tasks including general tidying, cleaning & laundry tasks
- Assisting with meal preparation, assist with carrying items around the home, provide general supervision of mobility and personal care if required
- Basic protective preventive dressing on one foot
- Community access
- Hoisting (full hoist/sling hoist)
- Administrating Medication
- Completing skin checks
Skills & Experiences:
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
- NDIS Effective Communication Module
- Current National Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current NDIS Screening check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver Licence
- Current WWCC
