About the role
- Make a difference in the community by supporting aged care, NDIS and mental health clients
- Helping people with activities of daily living such as showering, light household cleaning, companionship, meal preparation, shopping, transport to appointments
- Visit clients on a regular basis who live independently in their own home so you can provide one on one care (no pressures of supporting multiple clients at once like in nursing homes)
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will require the following:
- Previous experience working as a support worker or similar
- Covid-19 Vaccination Passport (3 x doses)
- NDIS worker screening clearance
- First Aid Certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence (P1 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle.
- We are looking for Italian or Cantonese or Mandarin or German speaking support workers.
