PRE-SALES ENGINEERLocation : Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane (Hybrid)Position Summary:We seek a highly motivated and experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to join our world-leading lifecycle asset management systems integrator. As a critical team member, you will report directly with the Services Director, and closely collaborate with the Sales & Business Development team to drive business growth, position value solution, and lead pre-sales activities within the region. Your technical domain expertise, customer-centric approach, and leadership capabilities will contribute to our success in the market.Your Day-to-Day / Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Services Director, and Sales and Business Development team to develop and execute pre-sales plan, focusing on client engagement and workshop, technical discussions, solution demonstrations, and presentations.
- Understand client requirements, both functional and technical, and design tailored solutions that align with our product portfolio and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support business development efforts, contributing to RFPs/RFIs and proposals, and delivering compelling presentations.
- Act as a technical expert and trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and goals and providing insights and recommendations for effective solution implementation.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to drive innovation and identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to continuously improving our pre-sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide thought leadership within the industry through participation in conferences, industry forums, and technical publications.
- Proven experience in a similar role, focusing on pre-sales and customer engagement within the lifecycle asset management systems and integration industry.
- At least 5 years or more experience in the related industry and technology field.
- Experienced in industry sectors such as Energy & Utilities or Transportation.
- Strong technical background and expertise in relevant technologies, products, and solutions.
- Experienced in presenting and demonstrating IBM Maximo EAM and other related products.
- Have some experience in Digital Twin solutions and related technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey and articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically to meet client needs and drive business growth.
