Your Role at Nextt: At Nextt, our Disability Support Workers play a pivotal role in organising and executing daily activities for our clients, which includes providing personal care, assistance with domestic tasks, and facilitating community access.
We currently have a vacancy in Goonellabah for a Disability Support Worker to work with our Male Client.
Our client has a cognitive impairment and needs support to assist with daily living tasks such as organisation of his admin and accessing the community for appointments and the gym. Our client has a young dog - as a companion that he likes to take everywhere with him so the candidate would need to be comfortable around dogs.
Shifts
Support days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 3pm (18 hours per week)
300kms of travel for the week for DSW to drive our client in the community - Kms are reimbursed fortnightly also.
Your Certificates and Licences:
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current)
- NSW Working with Children Check (Current)
- Australian Driver's License and Own Vehicle
- Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle
- NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
- First Aid and CPR (Current)
All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
