AddressRISU Care is looking for a care team in Airport West, VIC to support a young 30-year-old female with ABI and Intellectual Disability who needs 24-hour complex care. We are looking to employ a stable team of 5-6 carers who will cover and share the 7 x 24-hour work (including inactive overnight shifts).
🙌 Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered support to the client in daily activities.
- Assist with personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and skill development.
- Document and report on client progress and any concerns.
🔑 Qualifications:
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field (preferred).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Screening Clearance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse client needs and preferences.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
