Windarring is a Disability Service Provider in central Victoria providing a range of services, including community participation programs, day programs, youth programs, supported travel, holiday programs, supported living and respite care. We have sites in Bendigo, Castlemaine, Kyneton and Gisborne.

We are currently looking for part time (including weekends) Support Workers for our Gisborne centre however there is always flexibility to move between our sites. You will have access to salary packaging and opportunities for professional development.
The Role:
The support worker works with participants supporting them to live fully in their community and to meet individual plans and goals. Work can be centre-based or in the community, depending on client needs.
About you:
To be successful in the role you will have:
- A strong participant focus to ensure individual outcomes are achieved.
- Flexibility to work in a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated respect for clients as valued members of their community and understanding their goals and aspirations.
Desirable criteria:
- Cert III or Cert IV in Disability Support Services.
- Studying or enrolled to study Cert III or Cert IV in Disability Support Services or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in Disability Support Services or a related sector.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Clearance.
- Current Employee Working With Children Check.
- Current valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
- NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework and work standards.
