About the Role 
Zest Care is a proud part of Independence Australia Group and currently seeking for passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers and/or Family Support Worker in Blacktown/Penrith area.
In this role you will provide:

• Respite (in home and out in the community with children)
• Community Access
• Meal Preparation
• Domestic Assistance
• Personal Care
• For this position you are required to have a reliable vehicle, full Australian Driver’s Licence, car registration and comprehensive car insurance (non negotiable)

Shifts Available:

• Mon – Fri
• 2 hour shift anytime between 10am-5pm (You will receive your roster with 1 to 2 weeks in advance and you will choose what time suits you best to allow flexibility)

 
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

• Diploma in Community Services and/or Diploma in Family and Youth Intervention. (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a similar role within the /Family Sector
• High levels of empathy and engagement and the ability to express both professionally
• Demonstrated experience achieving positive outcomes for clients
• Attention to detail and excellent observation skills
• Flexible attitude with a mature approach to work

Pre-employment checks

• Checks: Reference check, criminal check
• Clearances – WWCC, NDISWC
• Certificates - First Aid, CPR and NDIS Orientation
• 3 COVID-19 Vaccination 
• Full Driver's License 
• Current Car Registration
• Current Car Comprehensive Insurance
