About the Role.

In the position of Disaster Restoration Technician at Reztor Restoration, you will be a vital part of our team, offering specialised disaster recovery and restoration services to those in need. This role places you at the forefront, making you the initial point of contact for our clients, where you will provide essential support in their most critical moments.

Your role will be dynamic and collaborative, involving a range of responsibilities:

• Performing emergency water extraction.
• Conducting structural drying.
• Undertaking specialised cleaning tasks.
• Cleaning and remediating damage caused by fire, smoke, and soot.
• Engaging in small-scale demolition activities.
• Carrying out mould remediation.
• Cleaning and restoring contents.
• Compiling and preparing field reports.

We Are Seeking Candidates With:

• Strong work ethic and a positive outlook.
• Self-driven with a keen interest in acquiring new skills and the adaptability to learn while working.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Deep empathy and understanding towards our clients.
• Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours.
• Possession of a valid Queensland driver's license.
• Willingness to undergo a national police security check.
• Basic proficiency in technology and application usage.
• Experience in carpentry, building labour, cleaning, carpet cleaning, carpet laying, handyman work, or as a general trades assistant is advantageous but not mandatory.
