About the role
This is a permanent position as part of the Production and Operations team. As the Dispatch Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day dispatch operations are conducted in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. You will report to the Dispatch Supervisor and work in a close knit team.
Skills & experience:
- Organisational Skills: must have excellent organisational skills to manage schedules, coordinate deliveries, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication is essential for coordinating with drivers, customers, and other team members.
- Inventory Management: Understanding of products or goods being dispatched required to ensure accurate and complete deliveries.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure the right products sent to the right customers and all documentation (e.g., invoices, bills of lading) is accurate and complete.
- Technology Proficiency: Must be able to use in-house Microsoft Dynamics software - training provided.
