We are looking for a Dispensary Technician to join our team at Direct Chemist Outlet Mernda on a Full Time basis.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Assist Pharmacists with accurate prescription procedures
• Check patient and prescription details
• Counsel patients on the use of medicines under supervision of the pharmacist
• Update patient prescription records
• Maintain stock ordering, rotation and storage requirements
• Management of PBS claims

What we need from you:

• Current Australian Dispensary Technician Qualification & Certificate 
• Strong interpersonal skills along with a flair for organisational skills
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player with the ability to work autonomously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience using the Dispense Works system is preferred but not essential
• Experience in Webster packing and Workcover is preferred but not essential
• An interest in professional services including Meds Checks, Asthma management, COPD Screening, Immunisation, Pharmacogenomics, Mental Health.
