Dispensary Technician

Better Leaf, a leading medical cannabis dispensary originally located in Brunswick, Victoria, is looking for an experienced Dispensary Technician.

We are looking for someone with sales and custume servise experience , nventory management, including receiving and verifying incoming shipments, organising and labelling products, and conducting regular stock checks.

Responsibilities:

1. Dispense medical cannabis products to patients in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and protocols.
2. Maintain accurate records of all dispensing activities and patient information in compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and verifying incoming shipments, organising and labelling products, and conducting regular stock checks.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing product recommendations based on patient needs.
5. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain cleanliness and safety protocols in the dispensary.
6. Collaborate with other team members, including pharmacists and healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless operations and patient care.

Requirements:

1. Experience in medical cannabis dispensing is preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
2. Familiarity with Z-Dispense or other dispensary software is highly desirable.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate and professional customer service.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritise effectively.
6. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.
7. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
8. Must be eligible to work in Australia.
