We are looking for a Dispensary Technician to join our team at Direct Chemist Outlet Mernda on a Full Time basis.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Assist Pharmacists with accurate prescription procedures
- Check patient and prescription details
- Counsel patients on the use of medicines under supervision of the pharmacist
- Update patient prescription records
- Maintain stock ordering, rotation and storage requirements
- Management of PBS claims
What we need from you:
- Current Dispensary Technician Qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills along with a flair for organisational skills
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience using the Dispense Works system is preferred but not essential
- Experience in Webster packing and Workcover is preferred but not essential
- An interest in professional services including Meds Checks, Asthma management, COPD Screening, Immunisation, Pharmacogenomics, Mental Health.
