Dispensary Technician (Full Time)

Pharmacy 777 is a leader in our dedication to the provision of health services and pharmaceutical patient care in the Pharmacy Industry. Our Pascoe Vale pharmacy is looking for a personable, self-motivated and highly organized Dispensary Technician on a Permanent Full Time basis.

The Dispensary Technician will support the Pharmacists’ in providing a great patient experience and timely and accurate dispensary operation.

Working closely with the Pharmacists, your duties will include:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions, 
• Maintain awareness of patients in-store at all times, 
• Actively assist the Pharmacists’ in providing service and product information to patient’s including the provision of relevant and appropriate health information,
• Assisting with Dose Administration Aids,
• Providing support to other team members,
• Ensure all dispensary administration duties are performed, including organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of the dispensary area.

Experience as a Dispensary Technician working in a pharmacy in Australia is a must. Prior dispensary management experience is welcome.

You will have effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills and work well within a team environment. 

It is expected that you will be able to understand and follow instructions, have a high attention to detail, be able to show initiative and perform your duties with a sense of urgency. Similarly, you have strong problem-solving abilities and be committed to your on-going personal and professional development.
