Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Business Management / Lean manufacturing / 6 Sigma or demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Ability to develop strategy in line with Komatsu’s warehousing objectives and convert this to operational results
- Proven experience with implementing and optimizing automation solutions in warehousing environments, including familiarity with robotic systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and warehouse management software integration.
- Demonstrated leadership capability leading a highly productive team for results excellence
- Previous experience in DC parts operation or a warehouse environment in the construction or mining (heavy) equipment industry
- Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (paper less) and Inventory Management principles
- Demonstrated ability to work as an active supervisor, managing a team of 50+ people
