New Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Distribution Manager with strong analytical skills to oversee our transport and distribution operations within ANZ. This role is pivotal to our Contract Logistics department, focusing on the management and strategic enhancement of the transport operations within ANZ.
Reporting to the Head of Distribution ANZ, you'll be responsible for the management and strategic planning of transport operations, driving system improvements, process re-engineering, and ensuring exceptional transport service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead national transport operation strategies and manage all carrier relationships
- Head transport standardization projects and system development initiatives
- Drive KPI analysis, productivity plans, and cost-reduction projects
- Maintain financial insight and produce precise reports
- Uphold and promote stringent WHS policies
- Oversee customer KPIs and service level management
- Lead, develop, and ensure compliance within your team
- Stay ahead in industry knowledge and operational practices
Who You Are:
- Extensive experience in 3PL and warehouse/logistics
- A champion in communication, team motivation, and strategic goal achievement
- An expert in customer service and relationship management
- Skilled in warehouse systems (SAP, Exceed) and Microsoft Office
- Qualified with a Degree or equivalent experience
This role may require travel and flexible hours to meet our dynamic customer needs.
