As a District Veterinarian, you'll be a vital part of our state-wide network of vets and biosecurity officers, bolstering prevention, preparedness, early detection, and response to biosecurity threats. Your work is essential in ensuring our region, state, and country maintain high animal health, animal welfare, and food safety standards. In this varied role you’ll:
- Conduct passive disease surveillance through clinical and post-mortem examinations and laboratory testing
- Educate landholders to meet their biosecurity obligations and welfare standards by providing livestock health management insights and veterinary advice on critical regional diseases

Requirements:
- A degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board
- A current NSW Driver Licence
