Golding is currently seeking an experienced Document Control Administrator with advanced MS Office skills to join our team located in Milton on an initial 6 month contract.
Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and Western Australia. Golding is undertaking a major improvement initiative that will uplift our document and records management practices. This will require the reformatting and rehoming of many of our controlled documents, and support for implementation. We are currently seeking a Document Control Administrator to provide support in preparing and controlling management system documents and Golding Management System content. This role is for 6 months with the possibility of extension and possible permanency once to ongoing demand is clarified.

The successful candidate will possess relevant skills and equivalent experience in an administrative role. This role will suit a motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt and work effectively in a pressure environment. This is initially a fixed term opportunity for six months and is based in our Corporate Head Office at Milton. We offer a flexible working environment with the ability to work from home, by agreement, 2 days a week along with 5 week’s annual leave per year.
Working with our Document Controller the key Role Tasks include:
- Assist owners and custodians to create documents in accordance with the authorised Golding Management System templates and style guides.
- Perform document administration tasks for documents in the GMS (SharePoint).
- Assist in the establishment of document management practices across Golding.
- Assist in repatriating Golding project documents where those documents have been held and managed on third party document management systems e.g. (client owned).
- Work under the direction of the Document Controller and with Divisions, Departments, and Projects to build consistent document management practices aligned with the business classification schema and the security classification and retention and disposal standards.
Key Capability requirements:
- Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Microsoft Word.
- Familiar with SharePoint.
- The ability to prioritise tasks with conflicting timeframes and work unsupervised.
- Communication including oral, written, and interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and clients.
