Role Overview:
As a Document Controller at Steelfinne Fabrications, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of information and documentation throughout various stages of our projects. You will be responsible for maintaining architectural registers, issuing approval drawings to clients, issuing construction drawings to the factory, issuing schedules for purchasing, maintaining the master Bill of Materials (BOM), issuing as-built drawings, and providing general project administration support when needed.
Note - Training will be provided for successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update architectural registers to ensure accurate and up-to-date records are available for drafters and project managers.
- Perform document control using Aconex.
- Issue approval drawings to clients.
- Distribute construction drawings to the factory and clients.
- Generate and distribute schedules for purchasing.
- Issue as-built drawings at the end of the project.
- Provide general project administration support when needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in document control or related administrative roles, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and Outlook is essential.
- Proficiency in document management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings and construction processes is advantageous.
- Aconex experience is highly desirable.
