Salary2 Princess Dog Grooming is a Melbourne based stylish Salon & Daycare Centre that located in Malvern East & Hawthorn. Due to growth and expansion, we are looking for individuals who can truly follow our ethos of respect and love for our canine guests and our team. The job is extremely fun and rewarding-you will lead our dogs into having a fun and happy grooming experience and playful time at daycare. Depending on the dynamic of the pack, sometimes stressful situation can occur-you must be able to control the dogs through love, respect and positive reinforcement.
The role also involves a lot of extensive cleaning and being on your feet MOST of the day. So it is best suited for someone who is fit and has a lot of energy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reception duties including handling client enquiries professionally in person and over the phone
- General administration duties and associated tasks
- Proven experience within the pet care industry as a MUST
- Exceptional time management
- Daily Cleaning Routine
Skills & Experience
- Candidate can speak fluent English as a MUST, MANDARINE speaker will be very favourably
- Previous experience (minimum 1 year ) in a busy reception(Ideally a high volume Dog Grooming Salon or similar) is an essential
- Able to handle all types of dogs including larger breed dogs
- Knowledge of dog breed requirement (preferably)
- Excellent customer service skills in the similar industry
- Comfortable with computer system (emails booking platform) and phone application, familiar with using social media, filming and editing basic video content etc)
- A natural affinity towards dogs.
Role can be part time or full time, excellent candidate can be promoted to a manager in the future.
