Domestic Care Worker

When RSL Care (QLD) and the Royal District Nursing Service (Victoria) came together to become Bolton Clarke, it was with a shared vision in mind. To provide care leadership and services that truly enable, support and celebrate Australians to live well and age positively.
  
What does the opportunity involve? 
    
Providing services to clients in their own homes across Gatton, Esk and surrounding areas.. The services provided are centred around client’s needs, abilities and choices including social support (e.g. go for a coffee, a walk, participate in events), shopping and domestic assistance.  
 
These new opportunities include formal training with our education partner and on-the job supports, leading to a qualification outcome in Certificate III in Individual Support - Ageing.

Upon completion of the traineeship, you may transition into a Personal Care Worker role within Bolton Clarke.
  
The opportunity is open to applicants who have: 

• Citizenship or residency status - an Australian citizen; or a foreign national with permanent residency; or a New Zealand passport holder with at least six months’ residence in Australia.
• A valid driver's licence and vehicle
• Access to personal laptop or computer to attend to online learning
• Able to be employed with Bolton Clarke for a minimum of 15 hours per week or more.
• Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
• Flu vaccination (or willing to obtain)
• Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations
