In this role, you will be working for our Electrical Construction business which forms part of the CV group.
The team delivers electrical design and construct services for commercial, industrial, government and housing projects.
With over 180 team members, the business is one of Queensland’s largest and longest serving electrical construction providers. The team has a well-earned reputation in the industry for delivering quality outcomes for our clients.
About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, positive, and professional Electricians to join our Electrical Housing team. This role will be required to perform work within the greater Brisbane area.
About the role
- Multiple positions available utilising technical knowledge, completing underground lead- in’s, rough in, fit off and testing of new homes ranging from project housing to large custom builds.
- Strong commitment to working in a safe manner whilst complying to company policies and OH&S codes.
- Effectively communicate with building supervisors and team members
- Great opportunity for further development in the company
- Company uniforms, iPad, phone and vehicle provided to the successful applicant
And a bit about you:
Are you the person CV needs? If you can answer yes to the points below, you just might be!
- Current Qld electrical licence
- 2 years with domestic projects/ residential housing experience as a tradesman
- Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Current manual drivers’ licence
- Attainment and ongoing maintenance of all regulatory and industry licences
- Reliable, hardworking and conscientious
- Unwavering commitment to WHS and environmental procedures
- Sound working knowledge of AS3000:18
- Excellent communicator who is comfortable working autonomously within a team
- Be comfortable leading, managing and upskilling apprentices as required
