The Doorways program provides person centred care to community members experiencing financial or other forms of hardship through the provision of financial and material Emergency Relief. Case management is provided at some of the Doorways sites to engage people through early intervention as well as address long term disadvantage to break the cycle of poverty and alleviate financial hardship. Our practitioners are strength based and trauma informed in their practice to build individual capacity, resilience and well being.
About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Doorways Emergency Relief Assessor to assess community member needs and determining appropriate financial assistance (Emergency Relief) and/or referrals.
