AddressFlexistrut Australia is seeking a CAD/Revit Drafter, to work at our Cheltenham, Melbourne office.
Remuneration is negotiable, depending on qualifications & experience.
Only candidates with relevant CAD/Revit experience to apply.
You will be expected to complete the following duties and responsibilities:
- work closely with our Structural Engineers to draft working drawings, completing the design documentation associated with a variety of commercial construction projects, predominantly in the Building Services area.
- self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time in order to deliver and manage projects on time and in line with company quality expectations.
- have a flexible and innovative approach, work well in a small team environment, displaying a can-do attitude to satisfy the needs of projects and clients.
- experience with all facets of CAD/Revit drafting for Building Services.
- read & interpret plans, use 2D & 3D Modelling to produce working, shop and fabrication drawings.
- working according to the Australian construction standards and practices; and computer- based technologies relevant to your role.
- consult technical handbooks and tables.
- produce quantities of materials needed for construction. In collaboration with our Engineers, participate in costing analysis.
- keep abreast of current and emerging trends within your discipline.
- have good communication skills when communicating internally and externally.
