AddressOur company is located in Riverstone and has established its position in the manufacturing industry with multi national clients servicing all the needs of these companies, doing regular maintenance, line coverage, machine installation, shutdowns, manufacture platforms/walkways, pipe work, sheet, metal, stainless steel fabrication and all types of machining.
Your responsibilities and duties will include :
Preparation of drawings, documentations & electronic files for customers and workshop
Project costing and quotations from customer's technical and design requirements
Liaising with clients and production team regarding design issues
Technical assistance to workshop and onsite team whilst job is in progress
Ability to define problems, collect information and facts and be able to draw the final product
Prepared to assist in others duties as requested
Qualifications Required:
Proficiency with AutoCAD or Solidworks Software
Work experience and skills required
- Must have a genuine passion for design and engineering and be time conscious of drafting
- Experience as a CAD Designer /CAD Draftsman/ Design Engineer /Project Manager
- A good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes,materials selection and presentation of construction-related data
- Ability to work from drawings and specifications sheets

- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Must be able to liaise with customers onsite

Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate their drawing experience using both Autocad & Solidworks during the interview process.
Only candidate's with at least 12 months experience in both Solidworks & AutoCAD and working in Australia will be considered for the position.
Casual position with a permanent role on offer after 3 months probationary period, with a remuneration package based on skills and experience shown during trial period.
