You will contribute to the social, environmental, economic and governance objectives of Council’s Community Strategic Plan. You will manage your work assignments to ensure delivery within planned timelines.Your work and activities and contributions to the team will meet targets and commitments established in individual or team work plans and Council’s Operational and Strategic Plans. You will participate in and contribute to Project Control Groups to provide design solutions which meet project objectives and ensure successful project outcomes. You will collaborate across Council in solving problems and developing solutions.This position is temporary up to June 2026 and is intended for students and recent graduates who are either currently undertaking or recently completed their studies in a Civil Engineering Degree.Please read the to familiarise yourself with all the requirements and conditions of the role.For Student: Award prescribed (up to $56,789.20) + 11% SuperannuationFor Graduate: $80,935.92 to $91,563.16 + 11% SuperannuationSome of the required skills, experience and qualifications1. Recently completed or successfully undertaking latter years of tertiary studies towards the completion of a Civil Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers’ Australia.2. Ability to complete civil engineering survey and design projects under professional guidance.3. High level of computer literacy skills and ability to use typical corporate and workplace software applications. Familiarisation with the use of computer aided design packages.4.
