Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience as a draftsman or estimator in the metal fabrication industry
- Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360) and Microsoft Office Suite
Tasks & responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for metal fabrication projects using CAD software
- Generate accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project expenses
- Analyze blueprints, technical documents, and other specifications to determine project feasibility and scope
- Maintain accurate records of project data, including drawings, estimates, and revisions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to metal fabrication and estimating
