Kitchens for living is a Newcastle Joinery company specializing in custom joinery for clients homes, workspaces or commercial properties. We are designers not salespeople so we do things a little differently, every project is carefully managed from start to finish to ensure a smooth process for our clients. With a dedicated team of designers you will work alongside them to produce Cad Drawings for Quotations and Production details. Our team are excellent at their various trades and genuinely care about what they do! All of our joinery is manufactured right here, so you will have the satisfaction of watching your drawings come to life! Working together we exceed our clients expectations through great organization and communication. No chaotic vibes here, we plan well so we meet our schedules and enjoy our workplace. We require this position to work from our local office, no remote drafting applications will be accepted.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience as a CAD draftsperson, using Cabinet Vision or similar software would be Highly favoured
- Ability to read & interpret detailed Plans, joinery detailing specifically.
- Experience with Microsoft office programs
- Trade experience in the kitchen industry is essential
Tasks & responsibilities
- Drafting Kitchen Designs and other joinery items from Plans created by our designers
- Utilising Cabinet Vision Software to provide Quotations for clients
- Liasing with Suppliers to request pricing as required for Quotes
- Working as part of the KFL team to help our clients have a great experience through effective and timely communication
