Job Description
AECOM is looking for an influential and inspiring Director-level Drainage Engineer to join our Water Resources team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will join our Water Group leadership team and will help drive the implementation of AECOM ANZ Water Strategy. This is a career-defining opportunity for a driven professional to play an instrumental role in the continued growth of our water-related service offering across Victoria.
Our Water Resources team provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects across the transport, water, energy and urban development markets. The team includes engineers and scientists who specialise in a wide range of technical disciplines such as flood risk management, drainage design, stormwater management, water quality and integrated water management.
Using your strong client-focus and developed networks, you will work with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver timely, innovative and high-quality project outputs. You will be a motivational leader, fostering the growth and development of our team, which comprises a combination of new talent and experienced professionals, whilst focusing on technical excellence and client service satisfaction.
Qualifications
We are looking for an innovative and influential leader with a strong local and regional market presence; an individual who can provide technical leadership and business development focus, whilst fostering a culture of inclusion, support and delivery excellence. Ideally, you will have strong track record in leading, reviewing and delivering longitudinal and cross-drainage design packages for large linear infrastructure projects.
Utilising your 15+ years' of professional experience, you will have demonstrated experience in leading project teams and a successful track record of building and maintaining client relationships and business development.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, RPEV and consulting experience are a must.
