About the role

As a Specialist - Technology Sourcing, you will assist with the sourcing of technology programs of work and projects. With significant experience in complex technology procurement, your role will be to help define the procurement plan, and to deliver on capital project procurement.

Working alongside a dynamic and professional team, you will be a strong vendor front-runner by managing technology project commercial engagements and help with the management of the technology project vendor contracts.

We offer supporting flexible working hours, 40% work from home and 9 day fortnight. Which means you have more time for life outside of work.

What the role will involve
  • Develop Sourcing Strategies / Procurement Plans for technology programs of work and identify stakeholders to assist Legal Services Business Unit
  • Provide commercial sourcing advice, support, and input for the business cases to ensure alignment to relevant technology commercial sourcing strategy
  • In collaboration with Legal Services Business Unit coordinate and assist in commercial negotiations for relevant IT Contracts, including rates, fees, charges, SLA’s, SOW compliance, damages
  • Forecast contracts sufficiently to ensure that required procurement and establishment timeframes can be pre-emptively planned
  • Ensure that project delivery services provided by vendors satisfy the contract requirements and deliver value to the Corporation
Key skills and experience
  • Degree qualification in commercial, business, procurement, legal or other related discipline
  • Extensive experience in development and management of contracts for goods, works and services, particularly in IT
  • Substantial experience in management of contract development and management of teams
  • Extensive knowledge of contract and commercial law
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
