About the Role
The Infrastructure Engineer – Roads & Drainage, will play a vital role in offering technical support and conducting engineering investigations essential for our infrastructure portfolio, particularly in road construction and Drainage network development.
Duties
- Conduct road and Drainage network investigations, providing recommendations, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with utility services, contractors, and stakeholders onsite.
- Address community concerns regarding drainage and road defects.
- Research and implement relevant standards and guidelines.
- Perform site inspections, surveys, and provide timely advice.
- Ensure quality assurance and manage contracts/construction.
- Apply engineering solutions to traffic, road, and Drainage issues.
- Review engineering components of asset infrastructure permits.
- Develop Capital Works Projects and conduct necessary inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in civil engineering design and construction or relevant experience in data analysis and outcome reporting.
- Management experience
- Experience with investigations and preparation of conceptual design, preliminary estimates, survey, and documentation of investigation outcomes.
- Proficient in conducting investigations and preparing conceptual designs, preliminary estimates, surveys, and documenting investigation outcomes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (words & excel), AutoCAD Drafting and MS Project.
- Ability to utilise survey devices and interpret data to formulate sound technical solutions.
- Valid driving licence.
