The company has an exceptional reputation for providing high quality niche products and innovative product design in the health-care arena. We specialise in unique and spinal fusion implants and instrumentation with a strong emphasis on R&D projects resulting in great market share within the Spine Industry. The Head Office is based in Sydney with additional locations in other Australian cities.
We are looking for a Delivery Driver / Logistics Associate to join our growing team in Lane Cove West, NSW. You will have career development potential in our rapidly growing business, and an in-depth opportunity to learn about medical devices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work independently & in a team executing logistics for life-saving medical devices across our national and international network.
- Day to day focus on packing, dispatching and checking in instrumentation kits and implants
- Delivering Instrumentation to Hospitals in a timely manner
- Respond to external and internal enquiries via phone or email
- Demonstrate initiative and problem solving
- Follow quality procedures and processes
- Operate inventory management software
- Assist in cyclical and annual stock counts
- Perform administration tasks essential to kit management including although not limited to paperwork for each dispatch
- Liaise with hospitals, suppliers, couriers and warehouse providers
- Be a friendly team player, who is hard-working, self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL REQUIRE
- A valid clean Australian Driver’s Licence essential
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills
- Willingness to learn and understand both inventory and logistics end-to-end processes
- Basic understanding in MS office suite – Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively under pressure
- Candidates must have the right to work in Australia
- Experience using inventory management systems (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in Medical Device Warehouse (preferred but not essential)
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Full Australian working visa / PR / Citizen
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Medical Device industry exposure or CSSD Experience
