Driver Supervisor

We are now seeking Driver Managers that are passionate about improving performance and building strong relationships with our frontline staff at our Heatherton & Keysborough depots. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will have direct accountability for a pool of Bus Drivers and ensure they are performing at an optimum level at all times. Encouraging a customer centric culture through leadership and regular engagement is crucial in this role as we strive to continually provide safe, clean and reliable services for our valued customers. 

• Aligning your team to business values and objectives through leadership
• Developing employee capabilities through coaching and training
• Allocating resources as part of rostering to meet operational requirements
• Supporting the investigation of incidents, accidents, and customer complaints to determine cause
• Providing support to frontline employees during incidents and emergencies
• Adopting a continuous improvement approach to all business processes
• Conducting performance improvement meetings and attending to disciplinary matters
• Driving buses in service when required

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Management or equivalent highly desirable
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment leading large teams
• Knowledge of bus route services and the overall Melbourne transport network
• Strong computer literacy, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High level of initiative and ability to exercise sound judgement in making quick decisions
• Hold or have the ability to obtain a heavy vehicle drivers licence (MR or above), CPVV Driver Accreditation, and Working With Children Check
