YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics has an opportunity for an experienced Driver Supervisor to join our team based at Truganina, VIC. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of our drivers' team, playing a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of vehicles.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Supervise and lead a team of drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate and schedule driver assignments, routes, and deliveries
- Conduct regular training sessions for drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Lead and/or contribute to talent acquisition and development activities including recruiting, Onboarding and ongoing maintenance of CEVA Contract Carriers
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to driver performance or delivery operations
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage CEVA equipment servicing and ensure CEVA property is serviced and maintained to a safe and satisfactory level.
Our ideal candidate has experience in transportation logistics in a 3PL setting.
You should also have:
- Experience in Transport and Logistics Management
- Sound knowledge of state metropolitan, rural areas and major road routes within Australia
- Good written and verbal communication, time management and customer service skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder /customer management and planning skills
- Bonus: Knowledge of Finished Vehicle Logistics management.
