Understating of pool operations, swimming pool and spa water chemistry, water purification, filtration and heating.Knowledge of the RLSSA Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and Lifeguard responsibilities.Proficiency in the application of standardized procedures, practices, Acts and Regulations in relation to an aquatic environment.Ability to deliver the highest standards of public supervision and safety in line with facilityguidelines.Ability to implement and maintain effective workplace and reporting systems.Ability to supervise and train a multi?skilled team.Local government experience is desirableA Position Description for this role is attached.
