About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive team player to join our BRAC team in the role of Duty Manager at the Shire of Broome.

This position is for long service leave cover from March 20, 2024 to August 20, 2024.
The Duty Manager will be responsible for:
Assisting BRAC management with timely and effective delivery of services and support to obtain the highest level of customer service and safety.
Ensuring the BRAC operates within the Department of Health's Code of Practice for the Design, Management, and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities and the Royal Life Saving Society "Guidelines for safe pool operations."
Work in cooperation with Centre staff to ensure the overall development and success of BRAC.

This is a full-time temporary position with rostered hours of up to 38 hours per week. The ideal candidate will need to be available to work on weekends and late nights. Opportunity to remain as a casual Duty Manager after the maximum term can be considered for the right candidate.
About You:
Our ideal candidate will possess a current Senior First Aid and Pool Operations certificate, a Working with Children check, a current Pool Lifeguard certificate, and Aquatics background. In addition to these qualifications' excellent customer service skills, a positive "can do" attitude, and a passion for all things "Sport and Rec" is required to be successful in this role.
