AddressDuty Manager / Cellarman-Hotel Venue-Remote Coastal Northern Territory
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager/ Cellarman for this busy venue located in coastal Northern Territory.
This is a hands-on position and would suit a candidate who likes working alongside the team in a busy environment. This is a mixed role covering Duty Manager shifts, working in the yard and bottleshop. This role requires a long term commitment. The majority of the hours will fall between Monday-Friday
The venue offers onsite accommodation, restaurant, bars and bottle shop and caters to the local, corporate and tourist market visiting the region.
You will work alongside a fantastic team of hospitality staff and management covering bar, gaming, opens, closes and cashing up and balancing of tills.
Outside of work enjoy the laid back lifestyle the Northern Territory offers. Beautiful tropical weather, amazing sunsets & sunrises.
Enjoy mixing with a friendly local community, relax on the beach or enjoy some local fishing on days off.

Pay Details: (Casual-Level 4)
- $32.73 per hour Monday-Friday
- $39.27 per hour Saturday
- $45.82 per hour Sunday
- Accommodation -Own Room- $150 per week
- Own room with Share Facilities in a 2 bedroom unit
Duties:
- Supervision of the main tavern public bar and bottleshop
- 100% hands on in all areas of the venue including bar, bottleshop, gaming and yard
- Open & Close of venue
- Counting and balancing of tills
- Monitoring stock control and stock ordering for the bar
- Unloading and distribution of stock across all departments
- General bottleshop duties
- Other duties as required by management & assisting in other departments
Candidate Requirements:
- Prefer candidates to have previous gaming experience, will train the right person
- Strong public bar & bottleshop experience advantageous – in a ‘pub’ environment
- Be willing to obtain an NT Gaming License
- Must hold or be able to obtain a current police clearance
