AddressDuty Manager-Club Style Venue-Outback North Queensland
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy club style venue located in Outback North Queensland.
The successful candidate will have previous supervisory or management experience and hold a current Automatic / Manual drivers license, current RSA & RSG and either hold or have the ability to gain an RMLV.
Situated in the spectacular hinterland, with beautiful creeks and camping spots, great fishing and watersports to enjoy on your days off. There is also a rich local history to explore.
Commencing: Late June
Package: (Fulltime Position including annual leave)
- $24.73 per hour / $30.45 per hour after 7pm-Monday-Friday
- $41.75 per hour-Saturday
- $48.70 per hour-Sunday
- $69.58 per hour -Public Holidays
- 38-40 hours per week
Accommodation Options:
Hostel Accommodation $150 per week hostel style (own room – communal toilet, shower and kitchen facilities)
$10 Duty Meals available on shift
(Longer term unit accommodation may be sourced locally for between $200-$300 per week)
Duties:
- General day to day duties in the bar and bottleshop including bistro service
- Supervision and training of Food & Beverage Staff
- General gaming duties including RSG and gaming clearances
- Closing procedures
- Responsible service of alcohol and gaming
- Occasional operation of the courtesy bus
- Organisation and overseeing the bar / gaming and local promotions as required by management
- Other duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
- Long term commitment required
- Will need an Automatic / Manual drivers license
- Must have current RSA & RSG prior to commencement
- Ideally have an RMLV but can do after commencement
- Gaming experience preferred
- Previous experience with Swiftpos and Max Gaming highly regarded
- Team player with great communication skills
- Previous remote area experience desirable
- Be able to work at a fast pace and remain calm under pressure
