The key purpose of the Duty Manager is to ensure all Centre functions (Retail, Operations, Guest Experience and Marketing) continue to be delivered during late night trade and weekends. Being a part of the leadership team at the centre, the Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring major initiatives continue to progress 7 days a week in a seamless manner and will manage emergency situations, the general up-keep of the centre, retailer and customer liaison and overall customer service in order to maximise centre presentation maintain an exceptional customer experience.
PLEASE NOTE: Roster will be Thursday - Monday 10am-6pm
The position is shared across DFO Essendon and DFO Uni Hill
What will you bring?You will be an experienced middle level manager with a background in customer service or retail operations. You will be an influencer with strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage and resolve conflict effectively. You will have previous experience in contractor management and a demonstrated understanding of safety, health and environmental management. You will possess a solid knowledge of retail leases & retailer management coupled with centre operations (tenancy delivery, safety and security). You will be known for your capability to problem solve in high pressure situations and have a proven track record of delivering results through collaboration with others. A tertiary qualification in a business related discipline is desirable.
