Location
This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort has 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.
Must have permanent Working Rights in Australia - this is not a Sponsorship role.
Department
- Coordinate Front Office operations during shift and ensure adherence to all Standards and Procedures.
- To notify and assist in investigations in all matters pertaining to safety and security
- Act as Emergency Response Team Leader. In the absence of the Engineering Manager, assume the role as the ERT coordinator.
- Undertake Hotel Inspections noting any quality improvements and safety and security hazards.
- Accurate and detailed completion of the Duty Manager’s log for each shift, and the timely dissemination of information throughout the entire Hotel operation.
- Liaise with Housekeeping Department to ensure adequate rooms are available for arrivals.
- Ensure RSA is being enforced in all venues and provide assistance to Food & Beverage associates activities.
- Attend all pre-con meetings for groups and check on all functions and confernces.
- Ensure Guest Service agents have correctly prepared for arrivals.
- Assist Front Office Manager with Staff Recruitment and Interviewing
Professional Experience & Certificates:
- 24 months in a similar role - Hotel or Resort
- Strong guest experience focus and professionalism
- Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (essential)
