Duty Manager

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, resort shop and day spa.
We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our high achieving Front Office Team. The successful applicant will be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring that all guests are welcomed and attended to in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.

This is a full time, ongoing position in which the successful candidate will be required to work as a Duty Manager.
Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, as the Duty Manager you will be required to maintain accurate and up to date financial records & ensure the timely completion of all daily auditing duties.
Other duties of this combined role will include:
Maintaining accurate and up to date financial records and ensure the timely completion of all auditing duties
Processing of daily balances, running reports, compilation of daily statistical information, auditing room rates and charges, and reconciling and balancing revenues generated
Manage the overnight operations of the Resort
Performing after hour relief duties on the switchboard
Dealing with guest issues and complaints
Ensure concerns with product and service are communicated
Providing an outstanding level of customer service
Processing financial transactions
Checking guests in and out
Coordinate guest services amongst other departments.
The successful applicant is required to have:
Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality/Tourism industry
Professional communication and written skills
Meticulous grooming and presentation standards
Attention to detail and superior organisational ability
Ability to work a variety of shifts that include nights, weekends and public holidays as required
Certification in Hospitality, Training Small Groups, Management or Supervision and / or Health and Safety Standards desirable
